Making Student Evaluations Meaningful

Facilitator:

Rick Moore

  • 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Via Zoom

Event Description

Student evaluations can be stressful, but they also have the potential to provide useful feedback about our teaching. How can we make the most out of the student evaluation process? In this workshop, we’ll discuss the role of student evaluations in reflective teaching, how to promote fairness in evaluations, and how to encourage student participation.  We’ll also begin designing our own custom questions to add to our evaluations so that they give us the feedback we need for our unique teaching situation.

This workshop will take place via Zoom. A link to the Zoom session will be sent out with the reminder email the day before the workshop.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Rick Moore, Assistant Director for Assessment & Evaluation, The Center for Teaching and Learning.

Registration will be available on this page 2 weeks before the workshop date.
