Event Description

In this virtual conversation, faculty will learn about resources at the Kemper Art Museum to consider for Spring semester planning, including upcoming exhibitions and onsite and online tours that can accommodate different instructional modes (in-person; hyflex; online). We’ll share ways to incorporate art into course curriculum across a range of disciplines and provide some examples of how teaching with art can support visual literacy and critical thinking. This session is co-facilitated by Dr. Meredith Lehman, Head of Museum Education at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and Dr. Meg Gregory, Assistant Director of Educational Development, CTL.

Registration is open to anyone currently teaching or who is currently an assistant in instruction in a for-credit course at WashU.

Prior registration is required, and participant limits are set at 20 to ensure that all will have the chance to discuss their ideas and concerns.
