Why I Mentor

I mentor to help students in the way that I would want to be helped myself, through thorough explanation of difficult concepts. After having so many helpful mentors guide me in my own life in many places, I knew that I wanted to serve this role, and being an RPM is the perfect opportunity to do this. I have learned so much about the importance of constantly adjusting how to explain concepts to students because how I understand something may not be the same way they comprehend it.
