How I Can Help

Come to my sessions for individualized homework help, test-taking advice, and general tips for approaching Biology classes!

My name is Michael Friedman, and I use he/him pronouns. I am a senior studying Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Physics, and I am from Raleigh, North Carolina.  In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, playing the piano, and trying out new student organizations on campus.  A fun fact about me is that I have two pet goats at my home in Raleigh!

Why I Mentor

The academic mentors that I have had throughout my time at WashU have been extremely important resources to me, and I am hoping to now give back to this program that helped me so much. It is the most rewarding feeling when a concept that someone was originally confused about suddenly clicks, and I love seeing how much students progress over the course of their sessions.
