SUMMARY:Elevating Creativity in the Classroom
DESCRIPTION:In this fun\, interactive workshop\, Rob Morgan will provide a look at the creative practice fields and the valuable lessons they teach all of us! Drawing on a popular first year course called Designing Creativity that he’s co-taught to more than one thousand students over the past ten years\, as well as his multi-disciplinary design background\, Rob will lead us in exploring the value of creative approaches in all classrooms. We’ll cover how collaboration\, testing and re-testing ideas\, prototyping concepts\, overcoming fears\, venturing guesses\, thinking divergently\, and the creative process in general are applicable to nearly ALL disciplines.
