Accountability Groups

Will set you up for success by:

Providing the space, structure, and social support to help you complete tasks.

The Learning Center’s Accountability Group program draws upon the benefits of structure and social commitment to help you get your work done!

Facilitated by Learning Center graduate fellows, groups meet for two hours per session and are offered at various times throughout the week. In general, here’s what you can expect from an accountability group meeting:

  • A quick check-in at the start to share what you’re working on during the session
  • Quiet, focused time to get work done
  • A short wrap-up to discuss progress and set intentions for the week ahead

You are encouraged to stay for the entire meeting, but you do NOT have to commit to the full two hours in order to participate! You can leave whenever you need to, and you can arrive late if needed (we just ask that you try to arrive around the 50 minute-1 hour mark, during which there will be an optional break, so as to minimize disruptions for other participants).

To participate in Spring 2026 Accountability Groups, sign up here. You will be prompted to log into your WashU Outlook account to access the scheduler.

Please note that the scheduler displays all times in your local time zone. Here are the Accountability Group meeting times for the Spring 2026 semester:

Wednesdays: 9:00 – 11:00 AM with Zubeiru in Seigle 306
Wednesdays: 1:00 – 3:00 PM with Arianna in Mallinckrodt 132

You can sign up for as many individual Accountability Group sessions as you would like using the link above. If you would like to attend every week for the full semester and do not want to sign up for all sessions individually, email us your preferred meeting time (learningcenter@wustl.edu) and we’ll get you registered!

If you are interested in participating in accountability groups but are unable to attend any of the listed meeting times, please email learningcenter@wustl.edu with your general weekly availability — based on demand, we may be able to add more groups!
