Drop-In Academic Mentor

Sarah Ash

How I Can Help

Science has been my favorite subject for as long as I can remember, and I knew I would be a biology major by middle school! I know teachers sometimes forget that their knowledge isn't inherent, which can be frustrating when you're trying to stay motivated to keep up. I want to help people break things down in the most manageable way possible so they can fully enjoy the BEST subject (I might be biased)!

Bio

Hi! My name is Sarah Ash (she/her), and I was born and raised in Rochseter, NY. I’m majoring in Microbiology with minors in bioinformatics and medical humanities, and am on the pre-med track with an aspiration to earn an MD/PhD specializing in infectious disease. In my free time i like to dance, ski, and organize things 🙂 A fun fact about me is that I only wear black, gray, white, and blue, with exceptions only for uniforms or WashU emblem purposes!
