Productivity Hours
Will set you up for success by:
Providing the space, structure, and social support to help you complete tasks.
Beginning in Fall 2026, the Learning Center will offer drop-in Productivity Hours to provide a working space where you can:
- write an essay
- finish your homework
- study for an exam
- answer your emails
- tackle whatever task you’ve been putting off!
Facilitated by Learning Center Graduate Fellows, Productivity Hours are offered in one-hour blocks at various times throughout the week. In general, here’s what you can expect:
-
A quick check-in at the start to share or independently reflect on your goals for the session (5 minutes)
-
Quiet, focused time to get things done (50 minutes)
-
A short wrap-up to discuss or independently reflect on progress and set new goals (5 minutes)
All WashU students are welcome to participate in Productivity Hours at any location. No need to commit in advance; just attend when it’s convenient for you!
Productivity Hours will begin week 4 (week of September 14). Once finalized, times and locations will be listed on this page and can also be found on the Learning Center’s calendar.
