YOUR BRAIN BELONGS at WashU Fall 2025 Programming
At the Learning Center, we believe all students have unique needs and strengths and are capable of being successful. This means our goal is to meet students where they are, not where we expect them to be. Additionally, we believe that all neurotypes are welcome and all brains belong at WashU. YOUR BRAIN BELONGS at WashU programs offer targeted supports in a safe, neuroinclusive environment for students who struggle with executive function, identify as neurodivergent, and/or have a diagnosis that inhibits executive functioning.
This fall, YOUR BRAIN BELONGS at WashU programming includes a neuroinclusive workshop series and peer accountability groups, all scheduled for Friday afternoons.
The workshop series will provide students with opportunities to participate in interactive sessions and practical activities, enhancing their ability to apply learned skills effectively to succeed at WashU. These six workshops will take place in Mallinckrodt 132 from 2-3:30pm on the following dates:
- September 12 – Activation
- September 26 – Focus
- October 10 – Memory
- October 24 – Effort
- November 7 – Emotion
- November 21 – Action
Peer accountability groups will be facilitated by a Learning Center staff member and create a space for students to come together in small groups to support each other in achieving their goals. Time can be spent on any academic or personal task or project. Six accountability group meetings are available and will take place in Mallinckrodt 132 from 2-3:30pm:
- September 19
- October 3
- October 17
- October 21
- November 14
- December 5
Please complete this interest survey if you would like to receive event reminders. While these programs are designed to support neurodivergent students, all are welcome to attend.
