Instructors dedicate many hours each semester to commenting on and evaluating student work, but is this feedback helping students to improve in the ways that we want it to? Are the students actually reading our feedback and are they interpreting it in the ways that we hope they are? In this workshop, participants will learn about how students traditionally process instructor feedback. Then, we’ll consider strategies for helping students make the most out of instructor feedback at various stages of the learning process.
