How Can I Help
I specialize in fostering connections by managing engagement and administrative initiatives across all three divisions of the CTL and by serving as a liaison to our university and community partners. My work focuses on faculty/staff development, communications, and event planning but I do a little bit of everything in and around the CTL. In essence, I balance operational tasks with strategic planning and engagement to ensure the Center’s activities are effective and aligned with institutional goals.

Kat Weir, MA ’19 (she/her), joined the Center for Teaching & Learning as Program Coordinator in early 2022. With previous experience at WashU in University Advancement and a Master’s in Non-Profit Management from WashU’s CAPS, Kat brings a diverse skill set shaped by her work in education, event management, non-profits, and team-building. Her creative energy and passion for growth and connection through education fuel her commitment to supporting the academic community.
As the CTL evolves, so do Kat’s responsibilities. She constantly adapts, learns, and brings new skills to the table, ensuring the Center’s services and programming meet the highest standards. Known as the team’s go-to “fixer,” Kat takes pride in keeping projects on track and making things happen.
In addition to her role with the CTL, Kat also proudly serves as a member of the Danforth Staff Council.
When she’s not at work, Kat can often be found winning trivia nights, listening to and/or belting out showtunes, or daydreaming about where she, her partner, and her kids will roadtrip next.
