Event Description
It’s your first time designing a class session on your own–Where do you begin? In this workshop, participants will learn the process for designing an effective class session, including considering the context, setting learning objectives, and making a lesson plan. Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss how to address common challenges that can occur, such as managing class time and adjusting activities that don’t go as planned. This workshop is applicable to a variety of teaching contexts including lectures, discussions, labs, and studios.
