Kaltura Error in Firefox - Center for Teaching and Learning

PROBLEM: I am receiving the error in Firefox: “It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies.”

SOLUTION: You can fix this issue yourself by modifying the “Under the hood” settings in the Firefox browser as follows:

1. Open firefox and navigate in a new tab to “about:config“.

2. Choose “Accept the Risk and Continue“.

3. In the preferences search bar, type in “network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault.disabledHosts“

4. Edit the preference and in the edit field, add “*.kaf.kaltura.com“.

5. Save your preferences.
