Panel Discussion: Identifying and Helping Students in Distress
The Teaching Center and Habif Health and Wellness Center staff are co-hosting a panel discussion on how faculty can address student mental health. Jordan Worthington, MSW, Assistant Director, Mental Health Outreach and Programming at Habif Health and Wellness Center at Washington University in St. Louis, and Lindsey H. Herzog, MSW, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Habif Health and Wellness Center, will discuss ways faculty can identify, refer, and respond to students in emotional and mental distress. The panel will focus on concrete steps faculty can take to help students, and identify campus resources for faculty, staff and students that widen our collective safety net. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Lunch will be available to pre-registered attendees. Please complete this form to RSVP.
