YSP Program Accepting Applications

Young Scientist Logo

The Young Scientist Program is a STEM outreach non-profit run entirely by volunteers from Washington University. We are dedicated to attracting pre-college students from historically excluded backgrounds to scientific careers through activities that emphasize hands-on research and individualized contact between young people and active scientists. Each year, YSP programming reaches hundreds of K-12 students from St. Louis Public Schools and other regional public-school districts.

We are recruiting for several leadership positions this fall, including a Co-Director and a Writing Course Coordinator of the YSP Summer Focus Program 2022. Applicants can submit their info using this short form and a YSP representative will follow up to schedule an interview.

See here for a full description of each position (responsibilities, time commitments, and goals). No previous YSP leadership experience is required. Our Constitution is available here and our website contains more information about our programming and community impact.
