Strategies for Early Career Faculty Members
Teachers of all levels experience stress, but early-career faculty members often have difficulty achieving a work-life balance. A recent article in The Chronicle of Higher Education offers tips to new faculty, particularly faculty on the tenure track, on how to prioritize and manage time more effectively. Faculty should also consider co-teaching with someone in a different discipline to observe another teacher’s work and build relationships on campus.
