In this virtual conversation, we will consider the importance of adopting inclusive language practices in the classroom. In particular, we will focus on best practices for addressing students, suggestions for adoption of gender inclusive alternatives to binary assumptive language, and suggestions for inclusive descriptive language practices. We will also consider how to make corrections if you’ve made a mistake in students’ names or pronouns.
