Levi-Montalcini on the Walk of Fame

As reported in The Source, Nobel laureate and neurobiologist Rita Levi-Montalcini, who conducted research at Washington University in St. Louis from 1947-1977, was inducted posthumously into the St. Louis Walk of Fame on April 6, 2017. A professor emeritus of biology in Arts & Sciences, Levi-Montalcini died at the age of 103 in 2012.

Founder of the Walk of Fame, Joe Edwards, and Holden Thorp, provost and the inaugural Rita Levi-Montalcini Distinguished University Professor at Washington University, spoke at the induction ceremony.
