Come grow with us at The Teaching Center! We are currently inviting applications for two Assistant Directors in Academic Services. The Assistant Directors work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and provide interactive programs on evidence-based teaching. The primary focus of these positions is on graduate-student and postdoc programs—including workshops, consultations, and symposia—as well as a variety of professional-development programs. The responsibilities of the positions also include collaborating with colleagues to develop and provide programs for faculty, including workshops and summer institutes on teaching. These positions directly support Washington University’s mission of excellence in teaching and learning.
Required qualifications include a PhD, knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning at the higher-ed level, and at least 3 years of experience in teaching at a college or university. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and interested in developing multi-disciplinary programs, materials, and approaches that can improve teaching and learning for all students.
