Registration Open for the Focus on Teaching & Technology Conference

Register now for the Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference 2023, a Midwest regional conference for the higher education community.

Registration is FREE for all WashU faculty and staff. Scholarship available for graduate students.

Join instructors, instructional designers, and other teaching professionals from 90+ institutions around the St. Louis region as we share effective innovations and teaching strategies. The Focus on Teaching & Technology Conference is a regional conference with two days of interactive concurrent sessions, technology workshops, and vendor exhibits highlighting emerging trends in teaching and technology usage. It provides an opportunity for conference participants to share their experiences and strategies for teaching in both online and face-to-face environments.

This year’s conference is held on two days: VIRTUAL on September 29th and IN PERSON on October 6th. Both days will include concurrent sessions/ workshops. The Keynote address and workshop will be presented virtually, September 29th.

Please register by Tuesday, September 26, but late submissions may be accepted if space is available.

Washington University is a “Gold Level” sponsor of the conference. This sponsorship level allows WUSTL faculty and staff to register and attend for free (price will be $0 after you select WashU as your institution).

If you are a graduate student interested in attending and want to apply for a scholarship to cover the cost of the conference, email us at ctl@wustl.edu with your CV and a brief description of what you hope to gain from this conference. Ten scholarships are available. Priority will be given to those participating in the Professional Development in Teaching Program and other GSPD programs.
