In a post on Saint Louis University’s Reinert Center blog, Christopher Grabau, PhD describes Mark McDaniel’s talk at the 2017 STEM FIT Symposium on the cognitive science principles that may be applied to improve learning: repetition and interleaving, retrieval practice, and explanatory questioning. McDaniel is a professor in Psychological and Brain Sciences and co-Director of the Center for Integrative Research on Cognition, Learning, and Education (CIRCLE) at Washington University.
