Over the winter break, a reference guide for emergencies was posted in all University-Managed Classrooms. This guide was designed to provide basic information about what to do in an emergency while teaching in the classrooms. It was developed by a committee convened by the Office of the Provost.
Before the semester begins, we recommend that instructors review the guide and locate it in their classrooms. (Wherever feasible, the guide was posted near an exit in the classroom.)
If you have any questions about emergency preparedness, please contact the Emergency Management Office at (314) 362-4357 or WashUReady@wustl.edu. More detailed information, including up-to-date information about specific emergencies, may be found at emergency.wustl.edu.
